PUTTING THE CART BEFORE THE HORSE

Our government! When will they ever be able to solve a problem?!
For so long our government have tried solving problems by attacking the secondary effect of the problems.
There are several examples of such.
Presently, in my country Nigeria, there's fuel scarcity. Why is there fuel scarcity? What is the cause? Not far fetched. We keep on importing refined fuel because our own refineries ain't working, the cost of importing this fuel is quite much as they claim so they "subsidies" the fuel price thereby spending billions on fuel subsidy. It's not always easy to keep on "subsidising" the fuel, that's why there are scarcities of petrol like now.
SO! What is the solution? We all know the solution and have talked about it too often. It's quite simple, just make our refineries work!!! but what is our FG saying(especially my pastor: VP Osinbajo), they are still VERY busy blaming the past administration, claiming they destroyed Nigeria, hypocrites I'll call them!
I talked of how my govt try to solve problems, right? Guess how they are dealing with this fuel scarcity ish? They are busy stopping petrol stations from selling fuel to jerry-cans because Black-marketers will hoard the fuel and by also closing down some petrol stations that sell above the official pump price, even though they are somewhat right to do so but that's far from the actual solution to the problem. People will continue to hoard petrol and long queues will not seize to exist if the government don't FIX TEHE PROBLEM FROM THE FOUNDATION!!! If the refineries were working, there won't be fuel scarcity, if there's no fuel scarcity, they won't even have to take their time in chasing fuel hoarders.
Nothing just seems to change in this nation. No common sense yet!
